Enabling Citizens to Restore Public Trust
The Government Accountability Commission (GAC) exists to reestablish the rightful balance between the governed and those who govern. Rooted in the founding maxim that “all power resides originally in the People,” the GAC is a civilian-led constitutional oversight body formed to ensure that every public official, whether executive, legislative, or judicial, remains faithful to the Constitution, the Law of Nature, and the trust of the People.
Our Mission
The mission is to investigate and indict government officials who violate their oaths of office, exceed their delegated authority, or act contrary to the principles of justice, equity, and natural law.
The GAC functions as both a people’s grand jury and a constitutional watchdog, ensuring that no branch or agency of government operates above the Constitution or beyond lawful bounds.
Who We Are
The GAC is not a political organization; it is not affiliated with a party. It is a lawful instrument of civilian oversight composed of members of the body politic: citizens, constitutional scholars, and investigators dedicated to upholding the rule of law.
Our commissions operate at both the national and state levels:
-
The Main (National) GAC oversees federal branches and agencies.
-
State GACs operate independently to oversee governors, legislatures, courts, and state agencies.
Each commission functions autonomously but in coordination with the others, ensuring uniform accountability across the Republic.
Our Expanded Purpose: Auditors and Investigators of Government
Members of the GAC serve as Auditors of the Republic, the constitutional counterpart to the civil servants they oversee. Their function is not partisan or punitive but restorative: to ensure that government power remains confined within its lawful limits.
GAC Auditors and Investigators perform the following roles:
-
Audit of Governance: Examine the actions, rulings, and expenditures of public offices against the supreme standard of the Constitution and the Law of Nature.
-
Evidence Collection: Receive affidavits, complaints, and notices from the People regarding abuses of power or violations of due process.
-
Public Accountability Reports: Publish findings in a transparent, accessible public record so the People may know whether their officials remain faithful to their oaths.
-
Indictment and Referral: When clear violations are found, issue formal indictments or referrals to the Constitutional Enforcement Bureau (CEB) for lawful enforcement.
-
Civic Education: Educate the public on their rights, the hierarchy of law, and their constitutional duty to serve as active overseers of government conduct.
Auditors and investigators serve as the eyes and conscience of the Republic, ensuring that power, once delegated, never becomes detached from the People’s consent.
Join the Oversight
Members of the People may apply to serve as Auditors, Investigators, or Citizen Grand Jurors within their state’s commission.
Each participant upholds the same oath sworn by public servants to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States and the rights endowed by our Creator.
